REFLECTION
Are you finding yourself constantly juggling all of your obligations with limited time for reflection? We are facing many day-to-day challenges, along with major life events and systemic issues that we are often not afforded the time to fully process, including rupture in a significant relationship, loss of a loved one, a career change, pandemic coping, illness, and marginalization. The obligations we face, coupled with the pace at which we are expected to meet them, can lead to anxiety, depression, burnout, stress in relationships, parent-child discord, and an inability to enjoy what matters the most to us. I want to create space to honor all of your feelings and experiences and take the time to process them. In doing so, we may continue to understand how you relate to yourself and others in the world and what you find truly meaningful.
SLOWING DOWN
I appreciate therapy as such a rich environment for exploring unconscious beliefs and how they impact one’s state of mind, decision-making, and relationships. As a therapist, I want to help you slow down to examine the root causes of your presenting issues and understand how you operate. I believe unraveling our history and relational dynamics to understand our internal mechanisms can take a lot of time, vulnerability, and work. Together, we can explore your core beliefs, process major life events, and talk about day-to-day stressors in a safe, encouraging environment. Taking time for therapy is a commitment and finding the right fit is important. If you are reluctant about therapy in general or would like to hear more about how I work, I would love the opportunity to explore what it would be like to work together.
It takes courage to live through suffering;
and it takes honesty to observe it. – C.S. Lewis
